Stvar postaja smešna. Bizarna. Tragična. Facebook razkritja o dopuščanju uporabe uporabniških podatkov s strani tretjih oseb so v preteklem mesecu namreč iz petdesetih milijonov najprej poskočile na osemdeset milijonov in končala pri vseh uporabnikih tega družabnega omrežja.

Vrh ledene gore, pri katerem sploh še nismo ugotovili, kje se konča in koliko ledu je pravzaprav pod gladino digitalnega morja je še enkrat izpostavil nedoraslost spletnih razvijalcev, nesposobnost regulatorjev in nemočnost uporabnikov, ki so vedno bolj prepuščeni na milost in nemilost spletnih fevdalcev.

Hkrati se vedno bolj dokazuje, da je spletna ekonomija postala prevelika, da bi lahko propadla in da hkrati vedno več podjetij razume in poudarja zasebnostno-varnostni element. Seveda ne sami od sebe, vedno se mora najprej zgoditi požar, ki poveča zavedanje, da potrebujemo sisteme za gašenje.

Prihaja volilna sezona in politiki bodo imeli spet polna usta besed o tem, kako je treba gledati v prihodnost. Zanimivo bo videti, kako se bodo opredelili do nedavnih incidentov v digitalnem prostoru, kako bodo zastavili razvoj politik na tem področju in kako bodo obranili ubogo gmajno. Ki je trenutno prepuščena na milost in nemilost digitalnih fevdalcev brez možganov.
